A gift is personal. We collect the least we can to make and deliver it, and we never sell anything to anyone.

What we store

  • The gift itself — the words, names and photos you put in it, the template you chose, and any replies the recipient writes back.
  • Payment references — Razorpay's order and payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details go to Razorpay, never to us.
  • Your account — your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. We use it to keep your gifts together and to send sign-in codes and receipts. No marketing emails unless you ask for them.
  • Basic logs (IP address, time) kept briefly to stop abuse such as passcode guessing.

Who can see a gift

Anyone with its link — so share it only with the person it's for. Gift links are long and random, are not listed anywhere, and are excluded from search engines. If you add a passcode, the page's content is not sent to a browser until the right code is entered. Photos are stored on Vercel Blob at random, unlisted addresses.

Photos of other people

Only upload photos you have the right to share, and think about whether the people in them would be happy to be in the gift.

Deleting a gift

Email hello@awwdrop.in from your account's address, and we'll delete a gift — or your whole account with all its gifts, photos and replies — within 7 days.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and two first-party analytics cookies — a random visitor id and a 30-minute session id — so we can count visits and see which templates people like. We also use Vercel's cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate visit counts and page-speed measurements; private gift and edit links are stripped of their ids before anything is sent. No advertising cookies or ad trackers, and we don't store IP addresses. Your browser also remembers drafts you made before signing in (in local storage on your device) so nothing is lost.
